Tamar DA is thrilled to announce its successful fundraising efforts over the past two years, resulting in a remarkable achievement of £2,226 raised for charity. The funds were recently presented to Friends and Family and Mind (Devon & Cornwall) at the DA’s members meeting.

“We are thrilled to share the news of our successful fundraising campaign for Friends and Family and Mind (Devon & Cornwall),” said Shirley Ames, Charity Officer for Tamar DA. “Our members worked tirelessly to contribute to these important causes, and it is truly heartening to see the impact of our collective efforts.”

The £2,226.00 raised was evenly split between Friends and Family and Mind (Devon & Cornwall), reflecting Tamar DA’s commitment to supporting both mental health initiatives and community welfare. The cheques were presented to the respective charities with gratitude for the invaluable work they do within the local community.

Lee Lupton-Wiliams (Tamar DA Chairman) added, “Our longstanding tradition of fundraising is a testament to the generosity and community spirit of our members. We believe in the importance of supporting local charities that make a real difference in the lives of those in need.”

The DA extends its sincere appreciation to all members, who contributed to the success of this fundraising campaign. The DA looks forward to continuing its tradition of giving back to the community and making a positive impact in the years to come.
