Cofton 2025

Cofton was the DA’s first meet of 2025 over the weekend of 14-16 March, with a total 32 units attending:

  • 9 Tamar

  • 5 Cornwall

  • 5 Devon

  • 4 Dorset

  • 5 Somerset

  • 2 New Forest

  • 2 South Wales

Alison & Pauline were on stewarding duties for the first time and did a fantastic job. We had a few late bookings which Cofton managed to fit it but unfortunately meant a few units had to be pitched away from the rally area.

Whilst we woke up with a frost each morning the weather was dry and sunny although cold in the wind. No alarm call was needed either as the Canada Geese made their presence known at sunrise each morning!

It was my birthday on Friday and I was treated out to a meal at The Anchor Inn at Cockwood which serves great seafood.

Over the weekend members made use of the facilities and fortunately the outdoor pool is closed till May! A few ventured into Exeter and Dawlish, others including me walked on foot to Dawlish Warren using the permissive path from Cofton.
