50th Birthday Meet

Newnham Park, Plymouth

29 April - 4 May 2027

Join Tamar DA in 2027 as we celebrate a fantastic 50 years with a fun-packed bank holiday weekend!

We’re planning a special weekend full of fun, friendship, entertainment and memories, and we’d love you to join us.

With four nights of entertainment, plenty of activities and our special DA birthday celebrations, there’ll be something for everyone. Whether you’re a long-standing member, a regular visitor or joining us for the first time, you’ll be made very welcome.

Four Nights of Great Entertainment

We’ll kick things off on Thursday evening with Hi-Jack, who are good friends of the DA and have been entertaining our members for more than 30 years. What better way to start the weekend than with familiar faces and great music?

On Friday night, we’ll take a trip down country music lane with Down South, reflecting the music and feel of the DA’s inaugural meet.

Then, on Saturday evening, it’s time for the big party! 🎉 Kitty and the Kings will provide the music for what promises to be a great night of dancing and fun. Get those dancing shoes ready!

And finally, on Sunday evening, we’ll bring the weekend to a special close with a Last Night of the Proms-style celebration, featuring the Camping & Caravanning Club Band. Expect plenty of atmosphere, familiar favourites and a fitting finale to a fantastic weekend.

Come and Join Us!

Alongside the evening entertainment, there’ll be plenty of activities and fun throughout the weekend, with our special DA birthday celebrations at the heart of it all.

It’s a chance to catch up with old friends, make new ones and enjoy a weekend packed with great entertainment and good company.

Come along and join the party — everyone’s welcome!

So, get the date in your diary, bring your friends and family, and get ready for a 50th anniversary weekend to remember!

We can’t wait to see you there!
