This large greenfield site is close to the costal gems of Wadebridge, Rock and Polzeath and features beautiful views over the Cornish countryside and the nearby north Cornwall coastline. The village of Rock is less than a mile away and offer a mini market, bakery, butchers and the obligatory fish and chip shop. From Rock there is a foot ferry to Padstow, which is well worth a day trip.
The superb Daymer Bay beach is just a ten-minute stroll from the site and boasts two miles of flat, sandy shores. The nearby Polzeath Beach is one of the best spots for surfing in the region and is patrolled by lifeguards.
Around the site is also an excellent area for walking with many footpaths and country lanes, some of which are accessible from the site itself. There is a bus stop at the end of the lane onto the site, which can take you into Wadebridge one way and Port Isaac the other.
In addition, this fantastic THS is ideally situated for some of Cornwall’s other highlights, including the Eden Project, Port Isaac, Lanhydrock House, Tintagel and Newquay to name a few.
On Wednesday 12th August, a deep partial solar eclipse will take place as the Sun sets, making North Cornwall one of the best places in the UK to witness this spectacular event. If you're staying at St. Minver, you'll have a front-row seat for what promises to be an unforgettable evening.
Site fees are £12.00 per unit. Site fees are to be paid to the steward in full on arrival, cash payments only.
Directions:
From Exeter, follow the A30 westbound towards Bodmin. Leave the A30 at Innis Downs and take the A389 to Wadebridge. From Wadebridge, take the B3314 towards Polzeath, then turn left and continue through Pityme towards Rock. Opposite the Texaco garage, turn right into Trewint Lane. The St Minver THS Site is on the left at the top of the hill.

Many thanks to Tamar DA for a lovely 8 days at the St Minver THS. Our first trip to North Cornwall and we had a fabulous week exploring the local area. We visited Tintagel, the Eden Project, cycled along the Camel Trail and went across to Padstow by car and using the passenger ferry (after walking into Rock). Our daughters also had a go at paddle boarding in Rock although the windy weather wasn’t very helpful!
Highly recommend this THS and would love to visit again.
