Within a few minutes drive there are several beaches, and many interesting little bays and rocky coves. Broadleigh is close to the small village of Stoke Gabriel sitting on the banks of the River Dart, where there is a shop, pubs and a Post Office.
In the opposite direction, just a few minutes away, lie Paignton, Brixham and Torquay with a spectrum of restaurants, bars and shops. If you fancy exploring a little further, you can experience the historic cities of Plymouth and Exeter.
There are walks close-by, or in half an hour, you can be on Dartmoor with a vast area of open countryside, or experiencing the large coastal path hugging the coast around some of the country's best beaches.
