There have been lots of changes over the last few days with regard to our remaining events for 2020. Please read carefully.
The booking requirement for all meets is still in place. The correct fees should be in a see through bag together with your name, contact details, vehicle registration number and membership number. the stewards will still need to see your membership cards.
However since Thurs 24 September there is a change which is connected to the NHS Track and Trace system.
NHS TRACK AND TRACE Please note due to the recent update from the government, we will now be asking all members who attend one of our ‘Pop-Up Camping’ meets to check in via the NHS Track and Trace app. Please download the app before you arrive at our sites and check in via the QR code. The meet stewards will have the QR code available when you arrive on site. You can still manually sign in as not everyone will have technology or sometimes even signal on campsites. However it is mandatory for every site to have and display the QR code by law. Please remember that stewards are all volunteers and are following the guidance provided by Head Office to keep all our members safe!

Further guidance issued from the Head Office today 25th September
The DA by law must display the track and trace QR, but you do not need to use it.
The NHS App support team have advised Head Office that campers who wish to use the QR code are to use it daily, this is because the App cancels daily scans at midnight. The QR code also needs to be rescanned on return to the site if campers have scanned other QR codes off site.
All ‘Pop-Up Events’ will continue to be booked meets and stewards will be maintaining onsite records of campers, so the Club is also covered if campers do not wish to use the QR code.
Halloween meet with Cornwall DA
Tamar DAs joint Halloween meet with Cornwall DA at Watergate Bay is still going ahead as a meet with no entertainment etc. It’s £12 pun 30 Oct – 1 Nov and is a booked meet. Phone 07867791057 to book. Please note! The showers and toilets are not open so own sanitation is essential.
Dinner Dance Hotel Bookings
As you may know the Tamar dinner & dance has been cancelled at the Kilbernie in Newquay. The hotel will honour the rooms booked for this weekend at the agreed rate. If you wish to use the rooms do nothing, if you wish to cancel please contact the hotel and let them know you are cancelling.
