Trelay Treasure Chest

April’s meet at Tamar DA’s new site at Trelay Farm Park near Looe took place this weekend.

Trelay is a new weekend meet site for Tamar DA, and a real treasure it is.  Clean, tidy and really well presented in a cracking location.  We’ve been invited back by the site owners, so I’m sure we will take them up on this offer.

The Friday weather was not good being rather misty and overcast, however Saturday saw a much nicer day with the sun shining.   Most members went off for the day to a variety of destinations including Looe and Polperro (Jo and Carolyn walked the dogs all the way there – well done girls).

It was good to see so many members of the DA on site especially Bill and Gill Gibbons who visited for the day.

We had a couple of new Camping and caravanning club members (their membership cards were still in the book) from Cornwall and hopefully they had a good time.  In total we have 18 units on-site.

Click here to check out the photos page for images of the infamous ‘Tamar Da Teddy’ on his travels….

The weekend was rounded up with a coffee morning organised by the weekend stewards, Ray and Sandie Skelly who did a great job managing the weekend’s activities.
