Cycling Fun at Little Bodieve

20 units enjoyed a cracking weekend at Little Bodieve near Wadebridge in Cornwall.  Thanks to Julie and Andy Martin for organising such a great weekend!

The 4-day meet started Thursday with over 10 units starting the weekend going.  The rain abated by Friday lunchtime to bringing finer and more pleasant temperatures.  Friday night brought our now usual ‘Meat Loaf’ tribute act….and much falling down juice was enjoyed.

There was good turnout for the annual Camel Trail cycle ride from Wadebridge to Padstow on the Saturday….and certainly some sore behinds by Saturday evening.

Julie and Andy hosted a wine tasting evening on Saturday night, which was again well attended.  I’d like to say the event was attended by educated wine connoisseurs….but I feel that would be far too generous.  A quiz followed, easily won by the Williams family.  A special mention went to Stu Brayson for keeping a calm head despite not winning 🙂

Check out some nice photos from the weekend here….
You can also see a small video of some of the children enjoying playing in the pool here….
